lowfps prob rad 9600 pro

i've written before about 14 fps on cs source ..tried everything ..new drivers low settings etc nothing works even though i can play doom3 and cod ok

i'm wondering wether increasing my ram to 1.5 giga would make a noticeable difference to my fps i appreciate i have a low end system and i'm not greedy i just want 5o fps or so to make the game playable
i'll bet it will be the same on dod source too!
