My problem is whenever im unzipping, unrarring, "decoding" a file using grabit, or creating a file of decent size, my computer slows to unreasonable speeds. Im running an AMD 3400+ with 2 gigs of ram and i didnt have this problem before my last reformating.
In Windows Task Manager, the image named System is identified as the source of the resource drain; however, when i use a program named Process Explorer, it identifies Interrupts, or hardware interrupts to be more exact, as being the source of the drain.

Ive turned off system restore and that didnt help at all.
Im also using norton 05 professional, adaware, search and destroy, and blackice and am 99% sure that im spyware and virus free.
Any ideas?
