I have been trying to install linux on one of my harddrives (as of now its the only harddrive connected to the computer, I wanted to make it simple and get one harddrive working first)
the thing is the software that im using has worked just fine when using it for servers that I give my clients and I havent had trouble using it (server: compaq proliant) but now when I try to load it in Graphical mode at the start of the install, as soon as it tryes to run the install in native the step after probing the monitor and what not. It goes into a screen with a bunch of colored lines.
I tryed to run it in text mode at the start of the install and it didnt do the same error but as soon as im done with the install and log into the computer it doesnt handle right as the tabs in the menus dont show till your over them and if you play around with it anuf the screen comes up again. can you help?
(Linux software: Red Hat Linux v4.1, Fedora Core 3, w/samba server)
any other info that you can use, please tell me and I will try to get it for you.
