lost my usb cardreader ...
after installing latest bios 1010 on my p4c800 de luxe i have lost my integrated APACER usb cardreader ....
i have checked all settings but after upgrade bios does not recognize the 4 cardslots anymore .I upgraded as system was not stable ( reboots at various moments ) even when system was idle ....Also the performance on both SATA drives is poor .
I run 2 Maxtor SATA 120 Gb on integrated SATA controller combined with a ' normal ' ATA Maxtor ide 60 Gb on integrated parrallel IDE. In startup both are also showing DMA5 as in bios they are DMA6 .The BIOS is also from time to time changing the bootdisk priority, resulting in an NTLDR bot found errror . After changing the biossettings everything works fine for some time ...
Is there a setting issue ? , if not I hope next bios will solve all these problems.This MOBO has definitely not the stability i expected from the Asus reputation
