Hello everybody, this is my first day so please be gentle:wave:

I logged on one day and my computer wouldn't boot -it just stuck on the window xp pro page(the picture). I'm not all that cluded up when it come to the technical side of the computer (but learning). my bro then came into play and had to use a floppy to boot up the computer. we couldn't see any of the info (70gig) on the hard drive so we ran and loaded windows again on the same drive. when we opened windows i wanted to see all my info that was on there before the freeze but nothing. The hard drive shows that 70 gig is used but we cannot find it.

we then installed a new drive as an additon to the one that was in there and put the new one as the master and the other as the slaver in hope of being able to see the info but nothing again sadly. The drive is a maxtor sata 200gig. Can anyone kindly help?? Can I retrieve my info???
Thank you for your time and effort
Ezza.

When you reloaded Windows it has used the same folder as the previous Windows. Your files are there but the pointer is wrong. Try pressing the Windows key + E at the same time. You should/will see all your files.
