i was looking into doing a raid 10 system on my pc build because i have had multiple hdd failures in the 5 months i have had it complete -_-' also i was looking to utilize the sata 6.0gbps advertised on my ga-890fxa-ud5 i was looking into using the SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM and i was wondering if for the mirroring i could get a SAMSUNG Spinpoint F4 HD204UI 2TB 5400 RPM as the mirror
using this fail picture as an example

you save data and it stripes to the spinpoint 1 and 2 then mirrors back to one on spinpoint f4 after. or is it possible to have a raid 10 in a format so that it does a normal raid 10 but periodically mirrors to a second hdd like the picture about except there would be 4 drives and then the spinpoint f4

Whether that will work probably depends on the raid controller. It should in theory if the raid will allow it.The mirroring tho will be simultaneous not periodically. In raid1 the two physical drives are seen as the same logical drive. same for the mirror part of raid10

oh okay well i was thinking could i tell the driver to periodically back up to that second hard drive like every night at 3 am?

Nope, the mirroring is done real time - simultaneously to bothe drives. They appear as one logical drive, so there is not even really a drive there that the OS can see to use. RID1 and 5 are not replacements for backups. They are designed for data availability, not restoring data. If one drive in the mirror fails, the logical drive continues to work, and data is available seamlessly from teh other drive in the mirror set.
