Hi everyone,

I bought a compaq recently. It's not bad but i didn't check before how does vista works under 1gb ram.:normal: My fault.
So basicly now i'm looking for 2gb ram. I've already checked on HP support site (even spoke with tech guy) but they told me that it's imposibile. Maybe somebody can help me?

Thx.

p.s.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
According to the spec sheet for this model the most Ram it will hold is 1GB. Here is a link:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...=us&dlc=en&product=3561968&rule=44671&lang=en
IMO 1GB is not enough for Vista and all other applications running
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Bill
