I'm looking to buy a laptop budget: $500-$600

I will be needing it for:

everyday internet browsing
watching videos/tv shows online (I do this a lot)
and I'm thinking of doing some light gaming (steam games) from time to time.

Nothing heavy/am not looking for a "gaming laptop" I know those are very bad.

also would prefer an optical drive but if it's not within price range, it's fine without. I could always buy an external one later.

I was looking at the ASUS F555LA-AB31 would this be a good choice?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you! :)

/One of the problems I have with my current (very old) laptop is that sometimes I'll be watching a show online and go onto the next show and it won't load because it's out of RAM I guess so I'll have to restart my laptop in order to watch more. Not sure if this is a RAM problem but just my guess? so this type of thing can be very annoying.

So I tried searching for the laptop you recommended but because I'm in CAD I couldn't find a retailer that is selling/shipping to CAD..

I'm wondering if there's anything specifically I should be looking at when buying a laptop that is fit for what I need..

Also, how is the one I suggested? or is it no good?

-thank you
