Hi guys!

I'd like to buy a decent gaming laptop that can run the present-day games on medium or high settings. I'm not going for 60fps and ultra settings, because these Razor and Alienware rigs are far too expensive for me. I'm more into these models that are priced around $1000. So far the machines I found adequate are:

Asus G551VW
Lenovo Idepad Y700
Lenovo Idepad Y50-70

I don't know much about laptops but I think the ones with i7 3.5Ghz CPU, 8Gb RAM and approx. 4GB GPU should do it, or? I would be more than happy if you could recommend some laptops for me in this category I tried to describe and help me make up my mind!

You will certainly want a GPU in a laptop for gaming.

Any of those should be fine, but I'd go for the Asus unit as they do gaming laptops well.

Yeah I thought so. I think these laptops with 4Gb GPU should do fine.
