logging in, passwords, text boxes for searching

when I log in , type a password or type text in a box for searching, the TEXT doesnt show up immediately and at times takes 15-20 seconds to show up. After that , the computer runs at normal speed. How can I fix this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, :4-dontkno

I'm not completly sure I understand what you're saying. Your login is slow?

yeah, ...and when I type text in those boxes..it takes 5 seconds for it to show up as opposed to immediately like on other computers that I use

Well, for example....when you logged in on this site, you had to type in a user name and password into boxes, right??..well, so did I , but when I typed mine in, since my username has 9 letters , it took nearly 10 seconds for the letters to show up so that I could move on to entering my password, while YOURS probably showed up immediately. The same things happen when I go to a browser and type in something to search for.
