Local area network icon

Can anyone tell me how to change the Local area network icon in the task bar. I find it confusing to have the same icon for my internet connection.

You should just be able to right click on the icon and go to properties and then click on change icon.

i always remove mine after i make shortcuts to the workgroup and each machine...

i hate seeing too many icons on my desk.

and why in the hell does the network neighborhood icon need to be there anyway?

just some silly ramblings from a lunatic....
