aside from wrt54g, what is the model number of the adapter and are you connecting to the router wired or wirelessly???

I was wondering if someone could help me with this. I have that wireless modem, and wireless G adapters, I connected to 3 computers and only 2 of them work. The other one just couldn't find the connection. I tried to connect them to different USB ports but it shows the same result. I was wondering why is this? :4-dontkno
