Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
ASUS P5NSLI Socket T
CORSAIR ValueSelect 2GB (2 x 1GB)

2x eVGA GeForce 7900GS
SAMSUNG SpinPoint T Series 300GB

Everything with XP install went fine. I installed drivers which was a breeze. Then i plugged in my internet and i have no connection (limited or no connectivity). I checked in device manager and all drivers were installed correctly. I tried winsock XP fix but that didnt help. I know it isnt the connection itself because i am on a different computer but the same connection so something is wrong with the computer. Any suggestions??

Go to the Start Menu and then select Run - in the run prompt type cmd. At the black dos emulation screen type ipconfig /all , paste that information into this thread.

Are you using a router? Or are you trying to connect both computers directly to the modem?
i am just trying to get this one computer connected strait to the modem
So how many computers do you have plugged into the modem?
If you change the computer attached to the modem, you MUST power cycle the modem. The modem is remembering the old MAC address.
You are right, I was thinking of another thread when I typed "How many computers are you trying to connect to the modem"... listen to johnwill.
