Before I start I want to say that I read through a lot of threads on this topic but none seem to match my problem. I just moved back home from school. This morning at my house at school my internet was working fine. When I got home, I plugged my laptop directly into the cable modem box but suddenly I get the "limited or no connectivity" error. No I am not using wireless, as my router does not seem to work, but this is another problem. Its urgent that I get my laptop working first.
I have a Broadcom 440x 10/100 integrated controller and for wireless i have an Intel PRO wireless 3945BG

Thanks in advance

Did you power cycle the broadband modem? Whenever the attached device is changed, you MUST cycle power on the modem. Does the modem get a solid connect light?
