LightScribe Problems

I've worked on this all day and really don't know what to do. I am using Nero 7 Cover Designer to print LightScribe labels. Most of the time, the DVD comes out blank on top. When it does work, I only get the very narrow area like the default LightScribe label. It does not see the entire label area.

I thought Windows 7 was the problem so I put it all on my older HP with Windows XP. Same results. I've never had problems like this with LightScribe before. I got it to do one good label about a week ago, and that's been it. The drive reads CD's and DVD's both so it's not the laser. Yes, I am putting them in with the label side down.
