I got problems with this burner.

it wont hardly do anything

it says incorrect function whenever I try to access it in My Computer or Windows Explorer.

I dunno if its having hard time reading disc or not, i see an icon say CD-R when I insert disc but thats it. I go to properties for the device and notice the CD is 0 and 0 for bytes used and free.

whats the problem?

could this be a windows xp issue since it seems windows xp recently has been giving lal cd burners i know of heck with these kind of errors.

first thing, im assuming there is data on the cd when you put it on your LG drive but you cant access the files correct?

is this a new drive? try replacing the cable and see if that works out for you. ive had similar problems and after numerous troubleshooting, it turns out to be a cable problem.

another thing you can do is to upgrade the firmware of the drive. try and search for a firmware update, download and install it, and see if that fixes your problem. good luck
