I also have a Lenovo u510-20191 I have a line down the middle of the screen and I have not be able to determine if its the mobo or if its the screen. The video cable has already been replaced with no success. Hard drive has been completely wiped and windows 10 installed from windows 8.1. Does anyone know do I need to replace both the board and the screen or just one or the other to fix this issue.

hi first thing first need to hook it to an external monitor to see if line shows on that screen. then we will be able to help you further.
