hi

i was wondering if anyone out there might know if i can use my LCD flat screen as a TV screen with an output from a digital /satellite box???

I would have to see the specifictions for the box, But I would't think so because the lcd monitor requires a video processer (Video Card) to supply the siginal. :4-dontkno

You could always just buy a TV tuner card for the PC; unfortunately that wouldn't be high definition. There are HDTV PCI cards available, but they range from around 80 base (over-air receiver) price to even 300 bucks, so it may be in your best interest financially to just get a box receiver.

oldmn, you'd be right if this were a normal TV, but LCDs actually use a DVI input, which is supported by many digital receivers nowadays.
