I have an HP desktop which I'm using to type this. I have a Cisco E2500 router connected to this computer via ethernet. my kids both have laptops, with Windows XP. I've had this router for months, and it connects fine to everything (Wii, Ipod touch (four of them), LG Revue in game room and my girls laptops). Just this week, both of their laptops will not connect to internet. I looked at both of them. They both state the connection to network is good at 65 Mbps, but when i open the internet (IE or firefox) the application opens but it continues to say "transferring data..." but the websites never come up. I tried different sites and nothing. I just opened the properties for this connection. It states IPv4 connectivity: enabled, but IPv6 Connectivity: No Internet access. IPods still working fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Welcome to TSF

See if Power Cycle helps.
How to Power Cycle your Broadband Devices?

Test your connection after, if unsuccessful then try the following:

Enable/Disable the Wi-Fi adapter from both laptops.
Try doing this from the Device Manager. Here's a general tutorial.

Please remove all wireless profiles stored in their laptops.
Removing an existing wireless "profile".
Re add your SSID (wireless network) that you're trying to connect to with the correct encryption.

If it's still a No-Go, we will need more information. See the Sticky here for details.

An update will be appreciated.
