My laptop screen has begun flickering, regardless of position. It doesn't flicker black, but rather the screen "jumps" and resets (like an old television screen would).

I downloaded a driver and it seemed to fix everything, then I reopened Mozilla Firefox and it began again. I have uninstalled Mozilla and switched to Google Chrome in case some of my Mozilla addons were causing the problem, but despite rebooting since, it still flickers.

I am really hoping my laptop isnt broken, but i get no blackened screen or color jumping, and screen position doesnt matter, so im beginning to think it is a software issue.

I came across a similar problem which a driver update fixed... obviously not the same issue here.

You do not have a second screen plugged in when this is happening?
