so theres no program that can help me out?? daing, it would be easier ,,, and how can i disable the lenovo splash screen?any repair shop should do it for you get a price first
on my lenovo laptop i found disabling the lenovo splash screen in the bios opened up the hidden bios setting
Well in reality I did not change the clock speed, Notebook Hardware Control (http://www.pbus-167.com/) did that for me it over-clocked it automatically well under-clocked actually with out me authorizing it to do so and since then I have not been able to change it back to normal. I also tried restoring the bios setting back to defaults but no luck as well as upgrading the bios nothing happened also so I'm still stuck at 997.2MHz.You mentioned that you had attempted to alter the CPU speed by overclocking and your system shows a speed of 997.2 versus the original speed of 1662? Is this still the case? I'd be curious if you were to turn on your computer and enter the BIOS settings and reset them back to default settings if that might resolve the issue. Often the BUS speed or Multiplier are the things that are changed to attempt to overclock the processor and that can cause the CPU to lockup/halt during times of high stress...such as booting. Give that a try and see if that works.
