laptop problem

Hi.. I have a toshiba laptop that has Windows Vista. Now, this morning when I wanted to use my laptop, it did turn on but it won't go on the page where I could log in. It only says "Please wait" for a very long time. I waited for 15 minutes.

Then I decided to turn it off and the on again. I went on safe mode and it has no problem logging in. I performed Disk scan and System Restore but it still did not help. Up until now, I can't go on the normal mode and just using my safe mode. What should i do?

do you have a vista disk or just the restore disk

does the laptop offer a non destructive restore option

go into msconfig startup

uncheck the boxes and tick one at a time rebooting and see if it will boot normally

it is unlikely to be a ms item so leave these ticked you can do these later if you don't isolate what is causing the problem
