I purchased my Toshiba Satellite laptop approximately 2 weeks ago. Until tonight, it has worked fine for me. Tonight, while watching a short video on the laptop, my monitor started flashing back an forth from a normal view to what looks like a negative from a picture. The video continues to play as it should, it just looks different. I don't think it has anything to do with the video itself because when I minimize the video (while it is paused), my desktop flashes back and forth as well. I have not connected it to any peripheral devices. It seems like this happens more when I am using the mouse touchpad or if the computer is not sitting on a level surface. It does not happen while I am typing.
Can you give me any suggestions? I really don't want to have to exchange my laptop for another one. :upset:
The OS is Windows Vista. The computer has the following displayed under the keyboard: AMD Turion X2 64, ATI Radeon graphics, wi/fi certified, labelflash. I don't know the specifics of the specs at this time. The computer is brand new and was purchased at Best Buy.
Thank you for your assistance. I hope we can get this problem resolved soon.
