My laptop has started to go into standby mode or turn itself off while I'm in the middle of work.
It initially started hibernating while I was working so I disabled hibernate. I also removed the battery completely and now just run it off the power in case it was switching to battery power and detecting that it had no power but instead the computer now turns to standby while I am on it. I have changed the standby option to never but this has made no difference. Quite often when I shut the laptop down completely it restsrts itself which is another reason why i have removed the battery and it has on occasion turned itself off completely. It's a sony laptop and about 2 years old.
What should i do??!
