Hi,
Video of my laptop is flickering while lowering/raising laptop screen. Video is attached for your review.
Could it be due to bad video cable or something?

Thanks

The video cable runs from the back of the LCD screen thru the left hinge of the lid to the motherboard. The Juncture where the hinge is bends the cable, and after several hundreds of times being bent, the cable starts to break and it needs to be replaced.

I had the very same issue on a Chromebook. When I removed the screen bezel to inspect the cable, I found it to still be in good condition. I was quite sure it was the cable when I opened it up. I discovered the issue was the small circuit board under the bezel and tape. I remedy was to replace the screen. They can be found on ebay for reasonable cost and they are not difficult to replace. Checkout some YouTube videos on screen replacement on your model.
