I'll admit, I'm not genius when it comes to the in-depth working of laptops, but it sounds like you have no BIOS program installed. Did you get it too close to a powerful magnet? It may have erased the BIOS. Also, your CMOS battery might be dead. Replacing that and an attempt to reinstall the BIOS would be the cheapest route to trying to fix your machine. Good luck.
