Lag spikes every 30 seconds

This problem started yesterday. Every 30 seconds or so, I get huge lag spikes. I looked at the task manager, and the CPU usage would go from 1-5% to 80-100%. It usually lasts about 10 seconds.

Any idea on what could be happening?
