keyboard not working

When I bootup my desktop everything works fine until I get to the login scrfeen for windows, then my keyboard and mouse stop functioning and it will not allow me to press ctrl alt del so that windows will login. They work fine in the booting process and the BIOS setup. please help:4-dontkno
