i tried to update my bios. so i went to hp and downloaded the correct version for my computer. then it said to not turn off my computer and my mouse and keyboard will return to normal after the download is done. so i waited for it to finish and then it did a computer restart. so i though that it was done. it then put me to a user screen and i had to sign in, but my mouse and keyboard werent working, so i turned it off (thinking it was already done) and turned it back on. then an error came up saying keyboard error and under that it said press f1 for boot. well my keyboard isnt workng so how in the hell am i supposed to press f1. now ive looked at many solutions and it still isnt working so im thinking about buying a new motherboard or taking it to a tech and seeing what they will say unless someone can help me thanks!!

Hello welcome to TSF! Can you post the model number of your HP computer? Did you download and install the right file for the version of BIOS you have?

How did you apply the update? Was the update interrupted?

Have you tried unplugging the mouse and keyboard and plugging them back in?
