Hi -

Actually, what Kaspersky is alerting you to is Deckard's System Scanner, dss.exe There's nothing wrong with the file, or the link. It is a false positive ID by Kaspersky.

I happened to notice this while testing KAV against an infection yesterday, and am trying to work with Kaspersky to update their findings on this. Seems a recent update in their definitions is targeting dss.exe

I tried adding it to the trusted zone with KAV, and it didn't seem too happy about that.

Only way I could get dss to run was to temporarily halt protection of KAV.

Hi newbee_4 -

Kaspersky has released new definitions which corrects this issue.

Update your definitions, and all should be well as far as running DSS goes.
