K8V SE Deluxe Stumper
Hey Everyone,
Been looking through the posts here to see if I can find anything related to the problem I'm having. Some similar ones but nothing quite what I'm needing. So here's the problem. Built the PC a couple months ago. Has been running fine. SATA RAID 0 w/ twin 80g HDs and WIN XP. Had no probs setting it up. Recently on boot up, have been getting to the 'Scanning IDE' with the results of 'Array 1 Off-Line'. Now here's the odd part, if I unplug my 2 dvd drives the PC boots up with NO problem. Then if I power down and hook the 2 drives back up, boot up with no problem again. The ONLY time this seems to happen is if I power down the PC for any amount of time( but that can be as short as an hour ).
Chances are there's something EASY that I'm not doing here but I've tried a TON of stuff (checking connections, replacing cables, updating drivers, verifying jumpers, etc. ) In my experience, after working on all the complex things it ends up being a 2 minute 'something simple' kind of fix, but to be honest I'm out of ideas. So ANY help/ideas would be appreciated.

adding in the additional 25% I'm coming up with about 375w, but I've built it w/ a 400w pu.
and what make /model do you have?
