Hello,
I just removed the win7 Antivirus 2012 virus from a friends netbook and discovered that the virus had edited/damaged the registry files for all my programs.
However when I try to run the Registry fixer from here I get the following error message:
Cannot import C:\Users\alexandra\Desktop\win7_av_fix.reg: Not all data was successfully written to the registry. Some keys are open by the system or other processes.
I assumed to mean that some background process was accessing the registry so I rebooted in safe mode, but got the same error. I'm at a loss as to what to do next.
Any idea?
