I just upgraded my motherboard and cpu but It doesn't really seem any faster than before and 35mark03 score has hardly changed. I kept my old hardrive, ram, graphics card but I thought I would be seeing a bigger perfromance increase than I have had. The motherboard I bought was a - Asus A8V Deluxe Socket-939 VIA/KT800Pro - ATX Sound IEEE1394 USB2 800FSB and I bought amd 3500 64.

my 3dmark03 -

thats what I was thinking but I've installed alot of new game and its said that direct x 9 was installed and I've gone to the microsoft website and installed it there as well it just always shows up as direct x 2 for some reason. It's been like that since I upgraded my graphics card awhile ago.

I think your old mobo/Cpu fed the graphics card data as fast as it can take the data. Since the graphics card is the same on both setups your scores will be about the same.
