Are you connecting through a router or directly to your modem. A Router provides it's own Firewall which together with Windows Firewall keeps the computer relatively safe. Though others here may disagree. If concerned you can use a 3rd party program, like Zone alarm.

As Mr Funk said, your modem/router is a very good start for a firewall, since most routers block incoming access to unused ports. You will probably come up as invisible to anyone running a port scan (depending on how your netgear is configured). I'd recommend using a good anti-virus software before running out and buying any firewall software. IMO, I wouldn't put any faith in Microsoft's firewall either.

edit: Also, you are running too many anti-virus programs which will conflict with each other.

I've read on the Avast forum that Super Anti Spyware and Malwarebytes both work well with Avast. If you have paid versions of either of those programs, which start up automatically with Windows, you can pick one of the 2. The other should be set not to run automatically when Windows starts. I don't use "Theartfire & spywearblaster" so I can't comment on them.

I would keep the Windows firewall turned on unless you install another program. One of the problems with Windows firewall is that's it's easily disabled by most viruses and rogue programs, which IMO, are much more of a threat.
