Just bought this computer from craigslist and installed a fresh copy of xp home and I installed all the correct drivers AFAIK but it's going way slower then it should be.

So the computer is just really sluggish, if i start doing anything the mouse will be get jumpy.

If theres a program i need to download to tell you my system specs let me know.

The computer is a dell optiplex 320 dual core 3.0GHz per core with 1g of ram and integrated ati xpress 200 graphics.

Even with the bad graphics display there is no way it should run this bad

Dell computers must only have drivers installed which have been obtained from or supplied by Dell (ie from their website). The drivers which Dell computers need are custom-made for the company so they aren't available from anywhere else.

Did you get all the drivers from Dell's website (or from a Dell driver CD supplied with the computer)?

You can go to the Dell support site, enter your Service Tag Number and download the drivers. Be sure to use IE and do not use the Dell Download Manager![/B
]
Start withthe Chipset driver and load all the rest . . particularly the video drivers

Just download the driver file, save it to the desktop and double click to install

On the list of drivers, click on the driver file:

Then the download button here:

See this for the order they should be installed:
