I use Outlook Express for email and my internet browser is Internet explorer 6

I cannot open or save email attachments in Outlook express.

I cannot open or save downloaded program files . Sites using activex to install software work OK.

Try this:

Open Outlook Express,click tools ,options and select security tab.

Under virus protection uncheck the box for "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus", click ok
