I have worked at Circuit City for a bit over a year now, but as most know, 155 are closing and I'm losing my job. As that i am only 17 and still in high school, hard to find any really IT or a job like it, or even another job. . . . . I have had a couple of phone interview's for some jobs and soon as i they find out how old i am it is like they lost all hope in me, but that belongs on a another page. I was wondering if there were really any "online" jobs that any one knew off or anything of the sort? I am in high school, but i all so go for classes at the college (ccna1, ccna2. . . .).

Thank you,

wow I was about to say try getting a cert but it looks like you are already working on it. Are you pretty good with fixing computers? You could always print out some business cards, pass a few out to people you know and spread the word. If you live at an apt complex, you could post an ad in the laundry facility as well. Oh, and look at your college website and look for employment on there. I don't know of any state colleges and community colleges that don't post jobs on their site.

Good luck!

Hi,

I don't know if you are going to be able to get a good job with how young you are. That being said I would recommend that you take a look at getting an internship somewhere with an it company, tech support company, anything that is tech related. That will help you get a foot in the door somewhere and might help you get a job a little farther down the road when you graduate or are old enough.

Cheers!
