Electrical problem with my jeep 2007 Grand Cherokee Lardo V6...30,000 miles. Battery died and replaced under warranty. Then new battery died after jeep was not used for a few days. Dealer checked entire electrical (so they say) and could not find any ongoing electrical drain or short. Jeep will restart with a jump start then battery dies after sitting for a while. Dashboard display does not indicate any electrical problem when jeep is being driven. Jeep dealer does not what to do and states no tech bulletins cover this problem. Anyone have a similar problem?

Hi dehalas

Check if there is a hood light, in the past these were notorious on jeeps for killing batteries, because the light would remain on or the assembly was internally shorted to ground. If there is a hood light, remove the bulb or unplug it then re-charge the battery. It will be a good idea to check your door switches, interior dome light manual switches and see if any are turned on accidentally.

post back your findings.
