javascript issues

hey Guys, well im kinda new to these forums so yeah. I was looking around AOL and I.E. and there were a few sites that wouldnt open because of lack of Cookies and Javascript. Ive tried troubleshooters and ive called AOL and I do as they say( tools,internet tools, Security tab, custom level, and then Able and diable a few things) but nothing seems to work, the temporary internet cookies im not sure of. but can anyone help me!?
