I don't know for sure, but I'd be surprised if you could. You need to use perl, or php.. or similar. This is because you you need the messageboard program to 'talk' to the server, and relay the info back to the site.

There are plenty of sites offering scripts to do this. Some are free others aren't.

Are you asking because your domain host doesn't support these languages.. ie. a free website host for instance?

thanks and no i was asking because im in a vocational school for computers and i am learning Java script to make my web pages better and i saw somthing about them but i also seen name and password things and i know you have to have a data base for that and its saying it dose it on cookies i knew that was wrong so i was curious if the mesage board thing was write

I've just double checked and you do need a server-side language to run a message board. To be honest, I don't know a great deal about Java, so I looked it up on the net.. :smile:
