java/byte/verify

When I run AVG it detects java/byte/verify virus and says it can't fix it. I saw a fix where you go to start-settings-control panel-java plugin icon- cache tab-then clear. My problem is I don't have ajava plugin icon. Con anyone help?

Locate the file and delete it manually.
