I have an asus G53sw-a1

My idle temps are 55-60 is it suppose to be like this?

Also, is it possible to upgrade the CPU fan on this thing to make it stronger or maybe raise the fan speed?

When I game, it goes all the way up to the high 70s-80s which really makes the graphic lag, but the GPU temp is fine even when I game around 50-60.


The bios has no settings for CPU fan.

Temps are not that abnormal for a laptop.

Upgrading the fan is usually not an option with laptops.

Even thought this is dubbed as a gaming laptop they don't dissipate heat that good.

the problem is that it gives me really bad FPS lag that I never experienced when I bought this laptop 2 months ago.

Also keep in mind that the FPS game I am playing has lower quality graphics than COD and I also play it on Lowest Setting.
What are my options
