Hi i was wondering if anyone could help me im looking at getting a gaming laptop as mine is getting old iv been looking at - https://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/OPEN_BOX_-_ASUS_G74SX-91234Z_1169438.html - and was wondering is it a good gaming laptop? ideally it should be able to play skyrim on ULTRA settings Thanks. If this isnt good any other laptops people can suggest under £1500 Thank you!

Just keep in mnd that laptops are not so game friendly they do get pretty hot so a cooling pad and a hard flat surface is a good idea when using one much better than a burnt lap

Thanks i think il get the Vortex II: 17.3" as its alot better spec and good price.
it has choice of 2.0GB nVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 580M or 2GB AMD® Radeon® HD 6990M, i would rather the 580 but its a extra £130 Is it worth it? Thank You

that is an amazing laptop, I would say that it could run pretty much anything on full settings
