My rule is:
1. Always use Add/Remove programs first or the programs uninstaller
2. Use the removal tool if the program has one
3. If there is a document on how to remove the program manually use that next (The document must be written by the creator of the program preferably)
4. Finally use Revo.
One of the things I like about Revo is that it first runs the programs' own uninstaller . . then lets you delete leftover files and registry entries. It is amazing how many files and registry entries some programs leave behind after an uninstall
I agree with "Old Rich", it is a great resource because it removes the registry entries after uninstall and also I find that it can do uninstalls in Safe Mode which the Windows Installer won't do which can help a lot in a malware laden pc.
