When i was putting the cover back on it while it was on a screw fell onto the motherboard and just shut off (maybe it overheated aswell?)
but now when i turn it on it doesn't post and theres no display
also the light in the front stays on and doesn't flicker,
everything else one the computer is on though =S
help please?

note: i've only had this motherboard for about 4 days.

Try clearing the CMOS after removing the screw if not already.

What brand and model motherboard is it?

400w Dynex psu ( just bought 4 months ago)
ATI RAEDON 4350 graphics card
1.5gb of ram
500gb sata drive
80gb hdd

Clear the CMOS and see if it will start.

i guess it's defective so i'm getting RMA
