i would suggest a different approach.
noise shouldnt be a concern, you dont see people running out and buying the quietest blender they can get!
but what i would do is to clip them ****ed wires, and add some length to them by soldering in more wire.
(or they sell a neat little extension for that particular cable, but i always want to cut things up and solder on them...)
but yes, god yes, run that thing with some sort of cooler.
they even sell little ac units that have a small heat sink and hoses to a box on the desktop.
those are fairly quiet.
