Hello,

I am new to the IP address scheme, or for that matter how to obtain a network IP addresses. My main question, how do you get internal IP addresses, is there a website you have to register too and pay for the IP addresses, or do you get the internal IP addresses from your ISP provider? I know you get your external IP address(es) from your ISP provider for your router but internal, how to obtain is my question? This is for a small company lets say 40ish people in the company and growing.

Thanks

HI.
If I good understand you have IP address provided from your ISP. You need now NAT.
(Network Address Translation) It can be done by any Router or Firewall. Login to the router or firewall. Setup WAN with details provided from Your ISP. Setup LAN with Local Range (like 192.168.1.x ) You do not have to order this.
