Hello,
I am running Windows XP service pack 2 I believe on my PC. I own a Iomega HDD 1tb that I use to store my files on. The external hd is NTFS but when I first got it, I reformatted it to FAT32 so that I could use it on my PS3. Recently I was trying to transfer some files to a laptop which runs Windows 7. That was when my HDD stopped working and would ask to be formatted to use. Although I could not use the HDD on any computers, I was still able to load it up on my PS3. Although I was able to load it up on the PS3, it was very slow and took a while to load up. So i checked this forum, used testdisk and got my HDD to work. But after a day or two, it started loading up very slow again and I've come to find out that there was a data error, cyclic redundancy or something like that. And I ran testdisk to take a look, and found out a great deal of files on my hd were unable to be accessed. When I tried to access it on testdisk, it says there are no files or the file is damaged. Is there anyway I can restore these files?
