invalid inf?!?

Just bought a digital slide scanner from SVP but everytime i try and install the driver from the disc that came with it it comes up saying that it found the software but there was a problem installing it and "a service installation section in this inf is invalid". I have downloaded the driver from their website also and I am still having the same problem with that!!

Please can someone help me fix this!!!?
