Internet stopped working on second pc

Hello,

Some time ago the internet on my second computer stopped working properly. There are some pages on the internet that I can see, but most I can't see. My second computer is connected to my first computer with a cable, and my first pc is the only pc which is directly connected to the internet.

I have no idea why it doesn't work anymore. At first my second PC used Windows ME, then we tried Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3, we also tried Linux, but I have the same problems with all operating systems. I tried shutting down the firewalls on both pcs and that didn't make a difference. With each browser I had the same problems

Trying to adjust some Internet Explorer settings also didn't work.

I hope you have an answer for my problem, because I have no idea how to solve it.

Thanks in advance,
Stefan

Let's see this from each of the computers.

Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt:

In the command prompt window that opens, type type the following commands, one at a time, followed by the Enter key:

Note that there is a space before the -n or the /ALL, but there is NOT a space after the - or / in the following commands.

NBTSTAT -n

IPCONFIG /ALL

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter to copy the contents to the clipboard.
Paste the results in a message here.

If you are on a machine with no network connection, use a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.
